Design Force is a full-range creative and visionary design firm located in Somerville, Alabama. With over forty years of experience in museum design, fabrication, and installation, Design Force distinguishes itself as a small firm gifted with a large team of talented partners. Their design and build installations are exceptional, and their focus on STEAM-based curriculum brings their exhibits to life for all ages. Design Force and its dedicated team have played a crucial role in shaping vibrant science museum exhibits, both locally and globally, from the US Space and Rocket Center in Alabama to Nha Trang, Vietnam. Their mission is simple yet powerful: “Listen, learn, and imagine.”
TechFulcrum specializes in the design, consulting, and implementation of the technology of themed entertainment, including theme parks, museums, brand experience centers, cruise ships, and more. Working around the world, TechFulcrum projects range from a single museum exhibit up to an entire theme park. With a team of industry veterans, featured past and current projects include The Bourne Stuntacular at Universal Studios Florida, SeaWorld Abu Dhabi park systems design, The Alamo museum expansion in San Antonio, Texas, and Toyota Experience Centers.

Just as the sky is filled with layers of clouds, each adding its own unique beauty, we are fortunate to have the support of many generous partners, contributors, and individuals. Each of them plays a crucial role, much like the clouds in the sky, coming together to create a magnificent formation of collaboration and support. Their collective contributions have made this exciting exhibit, “How We Know the Weather,” possible, inspiring and equipping future scientists, engineers, and mathematicians with invaluable knowledge and insights about weather phenomena and the science behind forecasting.
